  This is the desert's first Spiritual Summer Camp for children ages 5 through 10, a place and time in which children can participate and be introduced to Storytelling Yoga, Meditation, Laughter Yoga, Madala Art, Medicine Wheels, Music and lots more!

Storytime yoga brings the 5000 year old practice of traditional yoga to children using the philosophy and knowledge behind the physical practice. The interfaith stories teach children about character, inner self, love, peace, courage and happiness.

We will focus on proper breath, which is pranayama, or life force. We will help center the mind, connect the body and tap into the spirit with meditation and relaxation, which goes beyond yoga and is amazing for school, home and health.  Hours: 11 am - 2 pm every day.

 

Instructors: Chelsea Higholt is a Certified Iyengar and Korunta Yoga Instructor, Holistic Health Counselor with a BA in Communication and Minor in English. She is also a Yoga Instructor for Montessori Schools and is certified under the American Association of Drugless Practitioners as well as a certified Reconnective Healing Practitioner.
